Costia was saved in 1998, when Pastor Paul Hamilton ministered in Slobozia, Prednistrovia. In 1999, God called Costia to preach. He is a 2006 graduate of the Bible Institute, and a missionary in Slobozia. Costia is a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Chisinau.

Costia and Valentina are beginning a new church in the village of Karangash.
